Hills style - what makes us different!
The Hills style is a unique restoration style, Statewide Roof Repairs & Restorations is the only known company in South Australia to be using this technique. This is our most popular look as it gives a cleaner finish, leaving your roof looking brand new! The Statewide Style can be done at no additional cost to accomplish this look we change the order in which we complete the restoration.
Our Statewide style roof restoration 6 step process
We will check your roof for any broken tiles and then replace any that are broken and cracked to insure that your home remains weatherproof. If tiled we will re-bed any ridge caps that need to be repaired due to cracking or missing mortar.
After completing the necessary repairs we will then pressure clean your roof to remove dirt, moss, lichen and leaves.
Next we will then apply a coat of Acryloc anti-mould. This is particularly important for houses shaded by large trees and tiled roofs as they stay wet for longer than metal roofs;
We will then apply a coat of Acryloc CRC Roof Primer;
After the primer is applied, three coats of Acryloc CRC Roof Membrane paint will be applied (we use a 3 coat standard system as this is the only way to ensure the best coverage and overall visual appeal for your home.)
Finally we will point all ridge caps using flexible pointing membrane to ensure the longevity and strength of your roof.
As you can see for the image to the left, in the order in which our statewide style restoration is complete it helps break up the paint allowing difference between the tiles and the ridge caps
Your roof protects your home from the elements (eg the wind, rain and the sun). Over time, these forces wear down and weaken your roof, this can lead to it looking discouloured, worn down and possibly doing damage as well. If your roof has seen better days, you are probably wondering what your options are, here are some reasons why you should consider investing in a roof restoration.
Advantages:
· Extends the life of the roof.
· Prevents leaks.
· Improves the energy efficiency of your home.
· 7 year warranty on tiled and iron roof restorations
· It adds immediate value to your home, which can help you sell your home quicker as buyers that see a roof that needs repairs are less likely to purchase the property because it diminishes the curb appeal.
